COLLECTION HOZHO

____ FASHION VIDEO

Project overview

An ESMOD student contacted us to produce a video for her new collection on the theme of the American First Nations. To bring this vision to life and capture the essence of her inspiration, she called on our audiovisual agency to produce a video in a specific natural setting. To capture the desired atmosphere, the designer chose to shoot the video in a field at a specific time of year when the grass is yellow. The contrast between the sober colours of the clothes and the natural hues of the field creates a visual harmony that reinforces the message of the collection. This young designer's work is a tribute to traditional American culture. The colours, textures and shapes are carefully chosen to reflect the essence of this culture, while incorporating a modern touch that speaks to the present.

Process

Our audiovisual agency worked with stylist Manon Coquart to write the script. The project involved several key stages:

1. Site identification and preparation : The first thing we did was to identify the ideal field where the grass had the desired appearance. The period chosen had to correspond to the peak of the grass's yellow colouration to ensure the desired visual effect.

2. Set design : We then devised a set-up that would showcase the pieces in the collection while respecting the natural environment.

3. Shooting : Then we captured a variety of shots, playing with natural light to accentuate textures and colours. It was interesting to film sequences in movement to show the fluidity of the fabrics and the freedom of expression they symbolise.

4. Post-Production : Finally, we refined the filmed sequences by working on the colourimetry to amplify the contrasts and visual harmonies. We also added an immersive soundtrack that evokes the themes of the collection and reinforces the emotional impact of the video.
