Project overview •
We were honoured to be contacted again by the fashion designer Marco Mesquita.
A few years ago, Mr Mesquita asked us to produce a promotional video for his “Rouge & Noir” collection.
Today, Mr Mesquita has ordered a teaser video to present its new jumper collection. This teaser appears on its website as a showcase video and is accompanied by 6 presentation videos for each of the jumpers.
The outfits change but the theme remains the same: something different, something that breaks the mould.
The clothes are highlighted by the use of mirror effects and flashes to match theatypical universe of Marco Mesquita.
Process •
We arranged several meetings with our customer beforehand so that we could fully understand his world and get to know the clothes.
It was quickly decided to shoot the video clip in the studio to guarantee control over the light during the long day of filming ahead of us !
We used LED lights in order to benefit from good lighting as well as lower power consumption and a smaller footprint.
The using of our cinema camera enabled us to faithfully transcribe the details of each model's outfits and make-up.
Mr Mesquita wanted to inspire tribal brutality through this new collection. So we opted for a high-contrast colour scheme and modern percussive music.
Mr Mesquita was immediately delighted. Another satisfied customer!
