Astrophotography is a category of photos that focuses on the stars (yes, everything is clearly indicated in the name!). This practice requires moving away from human dwellings in order to avoid light pollution of cities. We often find ourselves in the middle of nature, at night. When we realize this kind of cliché, we sometimes feel very alone on our small planet. For the connoisseur, it can be to spot constellations or planets in the starry sky and capture them at a specific time. These images put us into perspective in our dense universe and make us reflect on our condition as well as the scientific prowess of our fellow human beings. Who has never looked at the moon and said, "Wow, we sent people there !" ?

Doing astrophotography is also giving a look at stars where we will probably never put our feet.
