• Cordes en Ballade
____ Event Aftermovie
Project overview •
The association “Les Éclisses” contacted us to provide photo and video coverage of the 26th edition of their festival " Cordes en Ballade ».
This is a traveling jazz and classical music festival that takes place every summer in Ardèche in unique venues: churches, abbeys, town halls, etc.
In addition to concerts, the Debussy Quartet, which founded this festival, trains young musicians throughout the festival at a venue called the Academy.
The festival concludes with a concert featuring all of the music groups present at the academy.
Some groups come from abroad and introduce us to classical music with Scandinavian or Latin American influences!
Our mission was to capture not only the concerts but also the convivial moments between participants and the charm of the venues where the festival takes place.
A wonderful event among vineyards and violins!
Process •
The festival organizers viewed our various works, particularly " Piano – Noir & Blanc » before contacting us.
- Preparation interview: As with all our projects, we arranged a meeting with the association members to discuss the event schedule and their expectations in detail. It was agreed that we would be responsible for taking photos and videos of the concerts, as well as the festival as a whole.
- Festival schedule: “Cordes en Ballade” is a traveling festival (as its name suggests). There was usually at least one concert per day in different venues. The pace was therefore fast-paced, as we had to send photos to our client every day and deliver three videos during the festival period while traveling to film each concert.
Thanks to rigorous organization, we were able to deliver more than 600 photos and 3 videos on time!
