• Risk’Indus
____ Aftermovie
Project overview •
We were contacted by the IFFO-RME association to make a film of the “Risk'Indus” event they were organising in Lyon.
This event presents the risks associated with industry and the safety measures in place. Our role was to film the first day of the event, during which schoolchildren met various professionals.
Following a meeting with the association, we agreed to capture the event in its entirety and to shoot a second video dedicated exclusively to one of the workshops presented by IFFO-RME.
Our shooting team went to the site before the event opened to the public to scout around, prepare the cameras and find the best camera angles !
Our customer was able to receive the aftermovie and the second video of the workshop in the days following filming.
This summary video of the event can be seen on our client's website and highlights their sector of activity.
Process •
To capture this event, we divided our day into several parts :
- Arrival at dawn : By arriving ahead of the public, we were able to film several workshops without being hindered by the crowds. We were able to talk to the various speakers. This allowed us to understand their workshops and the details that we will be able to show on video.
- Blending in with the crowd : The instructions were to film the workshops and interactions without the children being recognisable. There were a lot of classes and it was complicated to get the children to sign image rights. Our film crew therefore had to be clever, in particular by using long-focus lenses. When editing, we selected the rushes in which the children did not appear and zoomed in on the shots where faces were visible. This was made possible by a 4k recording !
- Interview : We took advantage of the lunch break to record an interview at one of our customer's workshops.
